This week’s episode of ARROW saw the debut of Grant Gustin as Barry Allen, aka The Flash. With the figures now coming in for that episode, it turns out that Barry’s debut proved quite the success.

THE SCIENTIST episode drew in a total of 3.165 million viewers, making it the highest-rated episode of ARROW‘s Season 2. This also marks a 22% increase on the series’ previous episode.

Not only the debut of Barry Allen, THE SCIENTIST was also the first part of the show’s two-part mid-season finale. And given the cliffhanger ending of this episode, chances are similar numbers will be returning next week to see what condition Oliver Queen is going to be left in as the show heads to the Winter break.
