It’s official – the fan-favourite character of Tyreese (above left) will finally be introduced to the story later in THE WALKING DEAD’s current season, and will become a regular when the show’s fourth debuts in October 2013. The character will be played by Chad Coleman, best known for his role as Dennis ‘Cutty’ Wise in THE WIRE…

 

Tyreese was an ex-NFL player and family man who joined Rick and co early on in the comic series, and would go on to become the love interest of SPOILER and later SPOILER. Before getting his SPOILER SPOILERED by the evil SPOILER. That said, with the TV show eschewing Robert Kirkman’s comic book continuity so radically over the past two and a half seasons, all bets are off!
