Christoph Waltz is perfectly creepy in the first trailer for Amazon’s drama series The Consultant. The frequent Quentin Tarantino collaborator and recent Pinocchio actor stars as Regus Patoff in the series, which is based on Bentley Little’s 2015 novel.

The eight-part series is a twisted, darkly comedic thriller exploring the sinister relationship between employer and employee. When a consultant is hired to improve business at a gaming company, employees experience new demands and challenges that put everything into question – including their lives.

Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Gradey (The White Lotus) and Aimee Carrero (The Menu) also star. The series hails from creator, showrunner and executive producer Tony Basgallop (Servant), with WandaVision‘s Matt Shakman directing the pilot episode.

The Consultant launches on February 24th, with all eight episodes dropping at once. Watch the trailer below:
