Peacock has debuted the trailer for its pandemic-themed horror Sick, which is co-written and produced by Scream franchise creator and I Know What You Did Last Summer scribe Kevin Williamson.

The flick is surprise-premiering – appropriately – on Friday 13th (of January). The film hails from Blumhouse and Miramax, and is directed by Alone’s John Hyams from a script by Williamson and Katelyn Crabb. Sick watches as the COVID-19 pandemic steadily brings the world to a halt, with Parker (Gideon Adlon, The Craft: Legacy) and her best friend Miri (Bethlehem Million) deciding to quarantine at the luxurious family lake house alone… or so they thought.

Dylan Sprayberry (Teen Wolf) also stars, while Marc Menchaca and Jane Adams round out the cast.

Sick had its world premiere at Fantastic Fest in September, where it garnered positive reviews from critics.
