As Godzilla: King of the Monsters continues to assemble its cast, it’s now been revealed that Randy Havens has joined the sequel to Gareth Edwards’ 2014 Godzilla.

Havens is likely best known to genre fans for playing science teacher Mr. Clarke in the mesmerising Stranger Things, and he joins a cast that includes fellow Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown, plus the likes of Vera Farmiga, O’ Shea Jackson Jr., Aisha Hinds, Kyle Chandler and the returning duo of Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe.

King of the Monsters director Michael Dougherty revealed the news on Twitter:

At present, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is set for a March 22nd, 2019 release. After that, worlds collide as Godzilla vs. Kong is booked in for May 2020, bringing the worlds of Godzilla and Kong: Skull Island together.
