It was announced earlier this year that 20th Century Fox were planning on developing an X-FORCE film, with KICK-ASS 2‘s Jeff Wadlow handling the feature. Well Rob Liefeld, the creator of the mutant team, has taken to Twitter to give his thoughts on the recent draft of the film’s screenplay.

He said, “Every film needs a proper script b4 they can cast & shoot. 1st mission accomplished for X-Force-When the casting begins we can scream together. X-Force cast/film will please/appeal to fans of all eras. Wadlow carefully, cleverly navigates the legacy.”

Over the years, the X-Force team has had various members, although it’s generally seen that Cable is their leader. Regular members include the likes of Warpath, Cannonball, Domino and Deadpool (fuck yeah!), with the occasional X-Men face, such as Wolverine, Psylocke, and Colossus, joining the team at times.

No more is known about the film as of yet, although it’s expected to somehow tie into Fox’s upcoming X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST.
