Jessica Chastain returns to horror with Universal Pictures’ Other Mommy, in which Chastain plays not one, but two characters.

In the film, Bela (Arabella Olivia Clark), an 8-year-old girl living in a home with marital problems, confronts a sinister entity that comes out of her closet. The presence, whom she calls ‘Other Mommy’ because of her uncanny likeness to her mother, becomes an increasingly dangerous threat to the young girl and her family.

The film is an adaptation of the bestselling novel Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman. Rob Savage (Host, The Boogeyman) is directing from a screenplay by Nathan Elston (Succession). Jay Duplass, Dichen Lachman, Arian Moayed and Karen Allen also star.

James Wan of Blumhouse Atomic Monster produces, with Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Savage, Josh Malerman and Ryan Lewis serving as executive producers.
