With Zack Snyder now confirmed to be directing JUSTICE LEAGUE as well as the upcoming MAN OF STEEL sequel, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Warner Brothers is currently developing an additional nine DC-based movies.

Whilst adaptations of SANDMAN and FABLES are already known at this point, the other seven titles are unknown right now. Could Wonder Woman finally get a cinematic solo outing? Could the WB have another crack at a Green Lantern movie? Could those ‘Dwayne Johnson to play Lobo’ rumours finally come to fruition? Could fans be appeased and get to see Stephen Amell’s Oliver Queen make the step up to the big screen? The possibilities are literally endless at this stage, although you’d have to presume that Ben Affleck’s Batman will get his own movie sooner rather than later. And just where are things at with the Guillermo del Toro-helmed Justice League Dark movie?

At present, the MAN OF STEEL sequel is set for a 6th May, 2016 release, with JUSTICE LEAGUE expected for 2017.

Expect to hear more on these ‘other’ features as it becomes available.
