Dum dum dum dumdum. Dum dum dum dum! Er, well that’s supposed to be the dramatic TERMINATOR music used as a backdrop to the new casting rumours. (It works better if you read it aloud…)

But yes. There are two actresses in the front running for Sarah Connor in this TERMINATOR sequel. Or is it a reboot? Remake? Anyway, the actresses in question to play the lead role are GAME OF THRONES’ Emilia Clark (left) and SHORT TERM 12’s Brie Larson. Both actresses have the acting ability to pull off a Sarah Connor to a great standard.

This news comes from an article by Deadline, which also states that Sarah is joined by other characters from the original films, Kyle Reese and Sarah’s son John Connor who are due to be cast soon. As for the T-800 himself, well, it’s Arnold Schwarzenegger again.

And they say it’s a reboot, right? Ok, just checking.

Nevertheless, the film is moving forward to join the insane amount of releases in 2015 and is due on July 1st of that year.
