Stephen Spielberg is reported as having become bored with action films and has placed the ROBOPOCALYPSE project on indefinite hold.

A script has already been prepared by Drew Goddard who wrote CLOVERFIELD and (with Joss Whedon) CABIN IN THE WOODS. Casting was already underway with Anne Hathaway on-board and discussions underway with AVENGERS star Chris Hemsworth.

Dreamworks purchased the rights to the story ahead of its 2011 publication and even last year it had been delayed to April 2014. Will it ever appear? We will keep tabs and let you know!
