Whilst KICK-ASS 2 was filming, there were various rumours that Nicolas Cage’s Big Daddy would return in some fashion. Whether that was going to be a flashback, a dream, or actually in the flesh was the cause of much speculation. Well, to put that to bed, CBM is reporting on a storyboard for a planned scene in the film. Said scene did indeed feature Cage’s Big Daddy.

The above storyboard shows Chloe-Moretz’s Hit-Girl getting knocked out by an explosion, when she then sees the image of Big Daddy coming towards up. Hit-Girl than asks her deceased pop whether she should seek the life of a normal teenager or continue to be Hit-Girl. Daddy then encourages her to simply follow her own path.

Nothing is known as to why the scene was never actually shot.
