GAME OF THRONES star Kit Harrington is in negotiations to star in a film about the volcanic eruption in POMPEI.

The project will be directed by Paul W.S. Anderson of RESIDENT EVIL franchise fame. It’s expected to take the same approach as TITANIC, and anchor the story around a love story. Just with pyroclastic clouds instead of icebergs. Harrington, who plays Jon Snow in GAME OF THRONES is rumoured to be playing a slave on a boat, in a race against time to save his true love and his best mate. And probably a small dog or cute child. There’s always a small dog or cute child. It’s disaster movie law.
