The hype and publicity machine for the forthcoming adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ THE HUNGER GAMES is set to go into overdrive shortly as its March 23rd release date fast approaches.

Lionsgate has now released a final theatrical trailer for the film ahead of release:

I like this trailer, it sells the relationships and the action involved a bit better than previous trailers. You also get a real sense of the world that Collins wrote about with its extremes of great poverty and the decadence of the Capitol. As a huge fan of the books the scene with the teenagers running for their life as they enter the arena gave me chills. It looks as though director Gary Ross has made a really solid adaptation. March 23rd can’t come soon enough…
