Now that he has established himself as ‘franchise viagra’ with well received films like FAST FIVE and JOURNEY 2 making serious box office, as well as the upcoming GI JOE 2, the artist formerly known as The Rock, Dwayne Johnson is starting to get attached to some interesting projects.

The latest is LORE based on a graphic novel by T.P Louise. This is pitched as MEN IN BLACK with mythological creatures. Interesting…

The graphic novel depicts a world once full of these mythological beasts which were banished and held at bay by a secret society of Shepherds. When a Shepherd is murdered a young girl who belongs to their bloodline finds her life threatened and it’s up to Johnson’s character to protect her.

Warner Bros has beat rival studios to the rights for this one and has set writers Cory Goodman and Jeremy Lott the task of adapting it.
