Michael Chiklis has had such a good time on the current season of AMERICAN HORROR STORY that he’d love to do it all again for Season 5.

When asked by Entertainment Weekly if he’d like to return, he answered, “Absolutely! I’d be lying if I said I wouldn’t.” He also admitted that he had had a “phenomenal time” playing Dell Toledo in AHS: FREAK SHOW before stating, “I will say that I don’t know that’s going to happen. I don’t know if they’re interested in that happening. In all candour, I don’t know what’s going to happen at this moment. But would I go back there again and play with those people? In a heartbeat.”

Chiklis, who is perhaps best known for playing brutally corrupt detective Vic Mackey in the ground-breaking cop drama THE SHIELD, and The Thing in the duo of FANTASTIC FOUR movies, has nothing but praise for his co-star Sarah Paulson. “She’s the best,” he says, “Phenomenally talented actress, but quality human. I felt bad for her this year from a technical standpoint. From the Fantastic Four, I know about really oppressive costuming, and so I was able to help her in that way and make her laugh when she had that second skull on her shoulder all day.”
