TV Insider is reporting the news, with the character of Vixen set to appear in the fifteenth episode of Arrow’s current fourth season. The hero, who has recently headlined her own aforementioned cartoon series (which also featured cameos from Stephen Amell’s Green Arrow and Grant Gustin’s Flash), has the ability to copy the powers of animals. Echikunwoke has voiced the titular character in the Vixen show, and now she’ll transition that into playing the role in live-action.

On this news, executive producer Marc Guggenheim said, “We’re not only thrilled to be further expanding our DC television universe by bringing in the live-action incarnation of the CW Seed hit, Vixen, we’re immensely excited that Megalyn will be revisiting her role as Mari McCabe.”

Arrow is currently on its mid-season break, but the show will return early in 2016.
