THE FLASH is set for its UK debut tomorrow evening and now comes word that the show has added another familiar DC name. The Hollywood Reporter has news that THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’ Malese Jow is to play Linda Park in the Barry Allen-centric show. Park is a character with ties to the comic book world of The Flash, having been a love interest of another Flash, Wally West.

As to how the character will be portrayed in THE FLASH, Linda Park will apparently be a quick-witted reporter for Central City Picture News and someone who strikes up a friendly relationship with both Barry Allen and Iris West, first meeting Barry at a bar. The character will debut in Episode 12 of the show.
