With yet another Texas Chainsaw Massacre movie on the way in the shape of Leatherface, the upcoming film has found its female lead.

The Wrap is reporting that the unknown Vanessa Grasse has nabbed the role, supposedly beating out around 90 other names for the gig.

This latest attempt to milk the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise dry will focus on Leatherface’s younger days. The action will initially take place in a mental hospital, but two young inmates escape and take a nurse, to be played by Grasse, hostage. One of the youngsters will eventually become Leatherface, with the group pursued by Stephen Dorff’s unhinged cop. The two potential Leatherfaces will be played by James Bloor and Sam Strike, and Angela Bettis will play a character described as the “mother” of the famed Sawyer family. Earlier this week if was also announced that The Conjuring’s Lili Taylor has landed an unknown role in the film too.

To be directed by Julien Maury and Alexandre Bustillo, Leatherface is currently set for a May 18th, 2016 release.
