Today brings word that Zack Snyder’s Justice League has a new addition in the form of Julian Lewis Jones.

The news comes courtesy of Wales Online, with the Stella and Invictus actor revealing that he’s landed a mystery role in the coming together of DC’s finest heroes. All he would say on the matter was, “I’m not allowed to say yet what part I play but let’s just say I’ve a role in what will likely be the most expensive film ever made. It was filmed at Warner Brothers’ studio at Leavesden as well as at various locations around the UK and Ireland.”

Removing any shred of doubt, he added, “Directed by Zack Snyder, it stars Ben Affleck, Jeremy Irons and a host of A-list actors. I’m just happy to be involved and I’m looking forward to the movie’s release, which will be next year.”

Already, there’s speculation from some quarters that Julian Lewis Jones could be voicing the movie’s villain, Steppenwolf, or possibly even the DC Extended Universe’s greater threat of Darkseid. That’s all just merely rumours and online chatter at the moment, though.

At present, Zack Sndyer’s Justice League is currently set for a November 17th, 2017 release.
