Horror icon Jamie Lee Curtis and rising star Emma Roberts have both been cast in the upcoming SCREAM QUEENS show. ShockTillYouDrop is reporting that the pair have landed lead roles in FOX’s new horror-comedy series.

Curtis is one of the most famous scream queens of all-time, best known to genre fans for playing Laurie Strode in the HALLOWEEN franchise. As for Roberts, as well as playing a key role in SCREAM 4, she’s also been involved in the most recent two seasons of AMERICAN HORROR STORY.

SCREAM QUEENS is an anthology horror series set around a series of murders on a college campus. The show is being developed by the minds behind AMERICAN HORROR STORY and Glee, including Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto.

It’s expected that SCREAM QUEENS will debut in the second half of 2015.
