That long-planned SCREAM TV series announced its principal cast a few weeks ago, and now comes some additional casting news and an early recasting.

The Hollywood Reporter has word that ARROW’s Bex Taylor-Klaus will be taking over the role of Audrey from the previously announced Amy Forsyth. That particular character is described as an artsy loner who aspires to be a filmmaker. No details have been revealed as to just why that role has been recast.

In other castings news, THE FINAL DESTINATION’s Bobby Camp has been given the recurring role of Seth Branson, who is touted as a dreamy English teacher at Lakewood High who is clearly one of those cooler teachers who can roll with less formal lesson plans. Additionally, SHARKNADO’s Connor Weil will be playing another series regular, Will Belmont, who is the all-American star basketball player of Lakewood. And concluding the new additions, V’s Joel Gretsch has been cast as Sheriff Clark Hudson, deemed one of the good guys of the series

These new faces join the already-announced Willa Fitzgerald, John Karna, Carlson Young and Amadeus Serafini. Jamie Travis will direct the MTV pilot, penned by Jay Beattie and Dawn Dworkin. Wes Craven, Marianne Maddalena and Cathy Konrad will act as executive producers, whilst Jill Blotevogel will serve as the series’ showrunner.
