A24’s adaptation of the video game Elden Ring, the studio’s most ambitious feature project to date, has now announced its full call sheet. With production beginning, Tom Burke, Havana Rose Liu, Sonoya Mizuno, Jonathan Pryce, Ruby Cruz, John Hodgkinson, Jefferson Hall, Emma Laird, and Peter Serafinowicz have been added to the cast. Previously announced were Kit Connor, Ben Whishaw, Cailee Spaeny, and Nick Offerman.

Based on a mythological story written by Game of Thrones author George R. R. Martin and developed by FromSoftware’s Hidetaka Miyazaki, Elden Ring is a dark fantasy role-playing game with dragons and beasts, set in a realm known as the Lands Between. The plot revolves around the titular Elden Ring, a powerful artefact that has been shattered and plunged the Lands Between into war and chaos. The player is tasked with restoring the magical item.
Character details on the feature adaptation have not been revealed. Check out our review of the video game and a description of its world here.
Elden Ring is set for cinematic release on March 3rd, 2028.
