Excuse us some self-promotion… STARBURST writer Kieron Moore will be present at Trafford Park Comic-Con in Manchester to promote his upcoming graphic novel Buddha: An Enlightened Life and chat about his work writing for the Doctor Who Adventures comic strip.

Also present will be the Doctor Who Adventures artist Russ Leach, as well as actors who’ve appeared in Doctor Who and Star Wars. There’ll also be cosplay competitions, Jedi mind trick shows (“this is the merch stall you’re looking for”) and various other family-focused activities, so it should be an interesting day out for all.

Trafford Park Comic-Con is on Sunday June 11th at, unsurprisingly, Trafford Park, in particular the Lucozade Powerleague Soccer Dome (but don’t worry, no sports skills are required to attend). Tickets can be purchased from pod.events now.
