As the upcoming Detective Pikachu continues to flesh out its cast, the film has now moved to bring in Bill Nighy and Chris Geere.

Legendary has announced the news, confirming that the duo will play a father and son tandem. Nighy, of course, has a laundry list of credits to his name, with him currently working on Fergle Gibson’s Payne & Redemption. As for Geere, he’s likely best known for the likes of You’re the Worst and Modern Family.

Already on board for Detective Pikachu are Justice Smith, Kathryn Newton, Ken Watanabe, and then Ryan Reynolds as the voice of the titular character. Goosebumps’ Rob Letterman is on directing duties, with him having penned the screenplay alongside Nicole Perlman.
