As Dario Argento’s masterpiece Deep Red (Profondo Rosso) reaches its fortieth anniversary, Claudio Simonetti’s Goblin are set to release a new version of the iconic soundtrack through Rustblade Records.

Available in multiple formats, including a highly collectable box set, complete with a glow in the dark ‘Mad Puppet’ sculpture, T-shirt, poster, and various other things – be warned, though this is a very limited edition of only 23! Standard CD and vinyl will also be on sale when the soundtrack is released on October 31st.

Claudio Simonetti was a founding member of the classic Italian group Goblin, who scored numerous giallo and horror films in the ‘70s and ‘80s, including many of Argento’s best. His latest band currently tours the world playing live to films such as Deep Red, Dawn of the Dead and Suspiria.

You can pre-order now by heading over to the Rustblade website.
