The world’s most popular touring freak show, Circus of Horrors, stage a ten-date residency at London’s O2 this November as part of their mammoth 21st Anniversary Tour.

Starting on November 5th and running through to the 14th, the show promises to thrill, shock and astound. There will also be ‘Addams Family Friendly’ performances at 6 pm to accommodate younger fans, with the 9 pm show being the usual adults-only affair.

Ringmaster and leader Dr Haze told us:

We’re doing ten nights at the O2 in a specially designed Big Top, right in front of the O2. So when you come out of the tube station, the first thing you see will be our Terrordome. In this show, we’re adding extra acts, including a Globe of Death, in which five motorbikes going into a huge steel structure and drive around at breakneck speed. Not only that, it then splits in two – the top half goes up in the air and the bottom half stays lower down. Two bikes revolve around the bottom half, and three, completely defying gravity, going around the top part. It’s remarkable!

Another terrifying stunt involves an act which has a tragic history. Haze’s godson tragically died performing at Blackpool Circus in 1994, an accident that actually paved the way for the Circus of Horrors we know today as Haze continues, “We have the return of the Wheel of Death, which is synonymous with the Circus of Horrors, due to the accident with my godson. We are dedicating the O2 shows to Neville and to one the former performers who also sadly died on the Wheel of Death a few years ago”.

It certainly promises to be an event not to be missed.
