If you are interested in Victorian drama, comedy, horror or just great plays which are well written and have great cast (eg Stephen Fry, Nicholas Parsons, Brian Blessed, Timothy West, Prunella Scales and many more) then you ought to be aware of the Wireless Theatre Company. They have recently updated their website and are about to release the second series of the Saga of Springheel’d Jack on December 6th. At some point after that date the site will move from free downloads to a subscription service.

Nicolas Parsons is the patron of the Wireless Theatre Company and they have won many awards since 2009 including first place in the War of the Worlds Anniversary Contest 2013.

The good news is that if you subscribe now you get a year’s free membership which will cover both series 2 and series 3 of Springheel’d Jack which we will be reviewing as they appear.
