It’s an unbearably slow news day today folks, so let’s waste a little time poring over some newly released imagery for three of our most anticipated flicks. (Maybe by the time we’ve yawned our way through this post another remake will have been greenlit or something!)…
The heavily-delayed DREDD is finally due to hit cinemas later this year, so it’s high time makers DNA Films started to roll out some teasers – if only to convince us that it’s not going to be the disaster we all fear it could be. Sadly we’ll have to wait a little while longer for that, as this rather weak-sauce new image revealing GAME OF THRONES’ Lena Headey as villain Ma-Ma Madrigal fails to excite in any way…
DREDD opens in the UK September 7th.
Similarly dull are these 2 new promo images for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, but since Sony have been far from shy showing the goods in their three trailers so far, we’re all suitably confident the thing will deliver anyway…

Finally we have a sweaty new look at RIDDICK, courtesy of facebook addict Vin Diesel. As always, kudos must go to Team Twohy & Diesel for getting this thing off the ground after such a disappointing reception for CHRONICLES, with any luck this will be a return to form for the character…
RIDDICK will arrive sometime in 2013.
