Adam Driver is kicking things into high gear in the first full trailer for Sony Pictures’ sci-fi thriller 65, which sees the Star Wars alum fight for his life against *checks notes* dinosaurs.

Set 65 million years in the past, the film centres on a pilot named Mills who realises he and a child, Koa (Ariana Greenblatt), are the only two members of the 35-people crew to survive their spacecraft’s crash on a mysterious planet. The two of them soon find themselves battling dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures while they attempt to find their way home.

Timeline-wise, it’s unclear whether this is all down to time travel or whether humans magically existed someplace else before evolving on Earth, but we’re sure that all will become clear once the feature releases. Either way, it brings to mind Kylo Ren’s fateful words in The Last Jedi: “Let the past die. Kill it if you have to.”

65 is written and directed by Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, who co-wrote A Quiet Place. Sam Raimi is also on board as a producer, so the horror credentials for this flick are strong.

65 releases in cinemas from March 10th, 2023 (same day as Scream 6, if anyone is looking for a juicy double-bill). Watch the trailer below.
