In some interesting news, Willem Dafoe has joined Zack Snyder’s upcoming Justice League adventure.

The Hollywood Reporter has the scoop, with Dafoe having signed on for a currently-unknown role. All that is known about Dafoe’s character is that he won’t be a villain, instead briefly described as a “good guy.”

Dafoe, of course, will be famous to many genre fans for playing Norman Osborn, aka the Green Goblin, in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy. But he’s not the only Spidey alumni on board, for J.K. Simmons, who played J. Jonah Jameson in Raimi’s trilogy, was recently confirmed to debut in Justice League Part One as Jim Gordon.

Snyder’s two-part Justice League will bring together Ben Affleck’s Batman, Henry Cavill’s Superman, Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman, Ezra Miller’s Flash, Jason Momoa’s Aquaman, and Ray Fisher’s Cyborg. Amber Heard’s Mera is also expected to be a part of the film before then playing a pivotal part in James Wan’s Aquaman.

Justice League Part One is currently set for a November 10th, 2017 release.
