As Paramount’s Snake Eyes movie continues to amass its core cast, it looks as if the G.I. Joe has found one of its key villains.

Via The Wrap, La Casa De Papel’s Ursula Corbero has signed on to play Anastasia Cisarovna, aka the Baroness in the picture. That character is one of Cobra’s baddest of the bad, and she’s a big fan of any sort of warfare and carnage. Additionally, the Baroness also harbours a major grudge against Snake Eyes as she deems him responsible for the death of her brother.

Corbero joins a Snake Eyes cast that currently features Crazy Rich Asians’ Henry Golding in the title role, Warrior’s Andrew Koji as Storm Shadow, and The Raid’s Iko Uwais as the Hard Master.

To be directed by Robert Schwentke, Snake Eyes is currently pegged for an October 2020 release.
