After several very weak teaser trailers, HBO have finally treated us to a decent look at the action that awaits us in TRUE BLOOD’s upcoming fifth season. While season 4 was a struggle (for myself at least), it’s still unmissable genre TV, and this new promo promises a return to form. No sign of Russell Edgerton’s much anticipated return however, though we do get our first look at Christopher Meloni’s new villain/ally, Roman, the head of the uber powerful vampire Authority. TRUE BLOOD season 5 begins June 10th. Well, in the States at least. God only knows how long the UK will have to wait. Sigh.
