With ARROW two weeks into its mid-season return over in the US, The CW has released the first promo for episode 2.12, TREMTORS. Whilst we won’t be getting the show’s return until February in the UK, the return of Season 2 has certainly picked up where the first half of the season left off.

The official word on Tremors reads:
“Arrow offers to train Roy so he can learn to control his newfound super-strength. However, Roy is a rebellious student and refuses to listen unless Arrow reveals his true identity, which Oliver refuses to do. Meanwhile, the Bronze Tiger (guest star Michael Jai White) escapes from prison and steals Malcolm’s earthquake machine to sell to the highest bidder. Oliver, Diggle and Felicity attempt to stop the transfer, but Roy gets in the way, putting everyone in danger. Laurel (Katie Cassidy) is disbarred and spirals out of control. Moira is thrilled when Walter (guest star Colin Salmon) asks her to dinner, but his reason surprises her. Thea encourages her mother to ask Walter to recnoncile.”
Now, to us, that part about Bronze Tiger escaping and throwing out a city-decimating machine to the highest bidder screams pure ‘comic book’ storyline, which is what ARROW does so well. As well as being relatively grounded, ARROW is never afraid of its ties to the comic book world, which has made it one the must-see shows on TV these days.
Directed by Guy Bee and written by Marc Guggenheim and Drew Z. Greeberg, TREMORS airs in the US on 29th January. ARROW returns to UK screens on Sky1 on 20th February.
