When Universal’s TV offering SLEEPY HOLLOW was announced it was meet with a fair amount of scepticism and a dash of derision. I, myself,  was guilty of this. Well the premise hardly sounded like it was a candidate for a thoroughbred show; Ichabod Crane awakes two hundred plus years in the future to battle the resurrected headless horseman? But lo and behold, it’s actually turned out to be quite a decent and entertaining show.

So it’s good to hear that according to Deadline John Noble (THE FRINGE) is set to become a series regular. Noble has already guest starred in three episodes as Henry Parrish, whose knowledge of the arcane arts comes in handy when assisting Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison). Lyndie Greenwood, whom has guest starred as Jenny, the troubled sister of Detective Abby Mills, will also become a series regular.

SLEEPY HOLLOW returns to Universal Channel in the UK on February 5th, while season two is due to start in the US later this year.
