Just how lucky are our American cousins!

US broadcaster ABC have announced that the second AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. season will be split into two parts. So just what will be bridging the gap between parts one and two? Why, it’s only Marvel’s latest small screen venture AGENT CARTER! That’s approximately nine months of prime-time essential genre viewing on a major network, Marvel style!

Think of it this way. A woman could, conceivably, become pregnant the day of the premiere of AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. season two, be well into the second trimester when AGENT CARTER begins and give birth by the time the final episode of S.H.I.E.L.D. airs. Now surely that’s just the coolest way of charting the progression of a pregnancy!
