As series seven of Doctor Who comes to an end, the first proper images of the forthcoming new range of Character Options action figures depicting the Doctor, Clara and their enemies from the most recent series, due for release at the end of the month, have started to appear. The new range of 3.5 inch figures replaces the old 5 inch range which was launched in 2005 when the series returned to TV and which was finally discontinued earlier this year. The six initial releases include the Doctor, Clara, a gold Dalek (no Paradigms??), the redesigned Cyberman from Neil Gaiman’s recent ‘Nightmare in Silver’ episode, the new Ice Warrior from Mark Gatiss’ ‘Cold Blood’ and old favourite the Weeping Angel, most recently seen in ‘The Angels Take Manhattan.’ More figures and playsets are expected to be released later in the year.
