Yesterday saw the fan-friendly Stephen Amell post a picture of ARROW’s version of the Suicide Squad, which will be seen in an upcoming episode of The CW’s Emerald Archer show. The image was picked up and released in high quality by CBR and can be seen below.

So it appears that Amanda Waller (Cynthia Addai-Robinson) has put together a Task Force X squad that consists of Bronze Tiger (Michael Jai White), Shrapnel (Sean Maher), Deadshot (Michael Rowe), Lyla Michaels (Audrey Marie Anderson) and Arrow-ally John Diggle (David Ramsey).

Since the team’s debut in 1959, the Suicide Squad, much like teams like the Avengers and the Justice League, has seen many different incarnations, although Amanda Waller and Deadshot have often played prominent parts in the team. It’s also worth noting that the Clock King, who is set to debut in next week’s episode, has also been a member of the team at times, as has Count Vertigo, another villain that has appeared in ARROW. In ARROW-terms, though, Vertigo seems to be staying dead after his last demise.

It’s said that the Suicide Squad will appear in the 16^th episode of this current season of ARROW.
