Six years after his feature directorial debut My Bloody Banjo, writer-director Liam Regan is now launching a new Indiegogo campaign for his spiritual sequel Eating Miss Campbell. The crowdfunder will run for 30 days from May 20th.
Regan started filming Eating Miss Campbell in 2020, but due to the pandemic filming was delayed until last summer. Restarting production for a second time has inevitably come at a cost and has now used the budget previously put aside for the post-production budget. Check out the teaser trailer below:
Eating Miss Campbell will bring back some of the main cast from My Bloody Banjo, including Vito Trigo (Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1), James Hamer-Morton (Pandamonium), Dani Thompson (I Scream on the Beach!), Laurence R. Harvey (The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence)) and Lloyd Kaufman (Toxic Avenger).
Also joining the impressive cast are some familiar faces from the UK indie horror scene are Lyndsey Craine (Book of Monsters), Charlie Bond (Powertool Cheerleaders vs the Boyband of the Screeching Dead), Emily Haigh (Jane Eyre), Michaela Longden (Book of Monsters), Annabella Rich (Acting), and Lala Barlow (Metro Sexual)
Director Liam Regan had the following to say about the film: “The Indiegogo campaign includes several unique perks such as the director’s cut of My Bloody Banjo which will be available on Blu-ray for the first time and several unique perks that will be limited to the Indiegogo campaign.”
