The World Turns Upside Down In STRANGER THINGS 4 Final Trailer

Stranger Things 4 returns to Netflix this week after an incredibly long wait, with a 7-episode "Volume 1" of a two-part season. In anticipation of the drop, Netflix has released a final trailer for the series.

"Volume 2" will only comprise two episodes and be released five weeks later, though these are not your typical "episodes". Have a look at the episode runtimes for this coming season:

Friday 27th May, Episodes 1-7:

  • Episode 1 – 1 hour, 16 minutes
  • Episode 2 – 1 hour, 15 minutes
  • Episode 3 – 1 hour, 3 minutes
  • Episode 4 – 1 hour, 17 minutes
  • Episode 5 – 1 hour, 14 minutes
  • Episode 6 – 1 hour, 13 minutes
  • Episode 7 – 1 hour 38 minutes

Friday 1st July, Episodes 8 & 9:

  • Episode 8 – 1 hour, 25 minutes

(and drumroll please...)

  • Episode 9 – 2 hours, 30 minutes (!!)

We don't know what's going on over at Netflix, but damn. Stranger Things fans are about to be well fed.

In Stranger Things 4, things pick up only six months after the Battle of Starcourt, which brought terror and destruction to Hawkins. Struggling with the aftermath, our group of friends are separated for the first time – and navigating the complexities of high school hasn't made things any easier. In this most vulnerable time, a new and horrifying supernatural threat surfaces, presenting a gruesome mystery that, if solved, might finally put an end to the horrors of the Upside Down. (Although they probably won't, since there's still a fifth season on its way).

Stranger Things 4 Volume 1 comes to Netflix this Friday, and you can watch the final trailer here.
