With Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow returning for their mid-season premieres shortly, The CW has moved to renew all four shows for new seasons.

CW President Mark Pedowitz confirmed the news, saying, “Over the past several seasons, The CW has built a schedule of proven performers, from our line-up of DC superheroes, to critically acclaimed comedies, to sci-fi dramas. Early pickups of these seven series now allow our producers to plan ahead for next season, and gives us a solid base to build on for next season, with original scripted series to roll out all year long.”

This new means that The CW’s 2017-2018 schedule will include a sixth season of Arrow, a fourth season of The Flash, and third seasons for both Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.

Interestingly, The CW held off making any announcement on one of its other comic book properties, iZombie, which may not bode well for that series.
