As The CW continues to develop its DC-driven shows with next year’s Black Lightning, the network is now eyeing its next DC project. As reported by Variety, The CW is getting set to develop a show based around Traci Thirteen and her pops, Dr Terrance Thirteen.

Who, some of you may ask? Well, Traci Thirteen first appeared back in 2003’s Superman #189. Not only is her father a super smart professor, but her mother just so happens to be the sorceress Meihui Lan. As such, Traci herself has certain unique abilities such as magical sight and the ability to sense what’s about to happen.

For The CW show – titled Project 13 at this stage – Elizabeth Banks is on board as an executive producer, with the hour-long drama series depicting Traci as “a twenty-something forensic scientist and believer in the paranormal who discovers her own hidden extra-sensory abilities when she joins her estranged, skeptic father to investigate mysterious cases of the paranormal and unexplained phenomena.”

As well as Banks, Daegan Fryklind will serve as an executive producer as well as writing the series. Project 13 will be produced through Bank and Max Handelman’s Brownstone Productions banner. And before you ask, at this early stage it’s not known whether Project 13 will tie in with The CW’s Arrowverse of shows just yet.

Expect more on Project 13 as it continues to develop.
