Syfy’s upcoming supernatural horror drama, The Haunted, has found two of its two leads.

As per Deadline, Lyndsy Fonseca and Elizabeth Cappuccino will be headlining this new series. Fonseca will be best known for starring in Nikita, whilst Cappuccino will be familiar for playing the younger Jessica in Marvel’s Jessica Jones.

The official blurb for The Haunted reads:

The Haunted centres on four siblings – Juno (Fonseca), Virgil, Ellis, and Hester (Cappuccino) – who reunite following their parents’ deaths. As they try to overcome their fractured personal relationships they find that they must also face the literal ghosts from their past in order to survive.

Fonseca’s Juno is a believer of science who has to come to grips with the world when she realises that she’s unable to rely on purely facts alone. As for Cappuccino’s Hester, she’s being described as desperately searching for a purpose in life, and someone who doesn’t want to miss out on any of the supernatural action.

Written by The Magicians’ Noga Landau, The Haunted is currently at the pilot stage, with a full season order hopefully to follow.
