THE PUNISHER star, Thomas Jane, has signed on to play the part of Detective Miller in Syfy’s new series THE EXPANSE. 

Syfy’s Executive Vice President of Original Content, Bill McGoldrick, has enthused profusely regarding the casting saying, “Thomas Jane is exactly the type of high-calibre actor we hoped this project would attract. The intelligence and nuance he brings to every performance is perfect for the role of Miller.”

THE EXPANSE is a literary science fiction series by James S.A. Corey, the pen name for a collaboration between Daniel Abraham and Ty Franck, which began with LEVIATHAN WAKES and continued with CALIBAN’S WAR, ABADDON’S GATE and CIBOLA BURN.

Jane’s character Miller discovers a conspiracy whilst working a missing persons case in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter.

THE EXPANSE will run in 2015.
