It’s seemingly a case of ‘another day, another new cast member’ for CBS’ SUPERGIRL over the last fortnight or so. This time, as reported by The Wrap, the new addition is Jeremy Jordan, who will be playing Winslow “Winn” Schott.

Jordan is best known for THE LAST FIVE YEARS, whilst Schott is better known as the villainous Toyman. How the character plays out in the upcoming series remains to be seen, although you’d have to think that Schott will indeed become Toyman at some point in the show’s run.

Already on board for SUPERGIRL are Melissa Benoist as Kara Danvers/Kara Zor-El/Supergirl, Mehcad Brooks as Jimmy Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alex Danvers, David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, and unknown roles for former Superman Dean Cain and former Supergirl Helen Slater.
