Whilst the Marvel Cinematic Universe has had very few bumps in the road, one movie that has been a little problematic is The Inhumans.

That film was announced as ‘a thing’ a couple of years ago now, and it was thought it’d be a part of the MCU’s Phase 3 or Phase 4 before earlier this year saw the movie totally removed from Marvel Studios and Disney’s upcoming release slate. Added to that, the official word on The Inhumans was that it was ominously “delayed indefinitely”. Given how the likes of Spider-Man: Homecoming and Ant-Man and the Wasp were added to the MCU slate, it seemed that the crammed release schedule saw The Inhumans having to make way.

Of course, The Inhumans themselves have become a part of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. in the small screen world, but that show and its ties to the greater MCU seem to be inconsistent at times. Now though, it appears there is still a glimmer of hope that The Inhumans movie could arrive at some point, somewhere, somehow.

Speaking to Slash Film, Marvel’s Kevin Feige said, “I think Inhumans will happen for sure. I don’t know when. I think it’s happening on television. And I think was we get into Phase 4, as I’ve always said, it could happen as a movie. I think it would be super cool.”

This is still a tad vague, but it at least means that the chance of an Inhumans movie isn’t totally off the table. As for the rest of the global MCU schedule, that reads as below:

May 5th, 2017: Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2

July 7th, 2017: Spider-Man: Homecoming

November 3rd, 2017: Thor: Ragnarok

February 16th, 2018: Black Panther

May 4th, 2018: Avengers: Infinity War

July 6th, 2018: Ant-Man and the Wasp

March 8th, 2019: Captain Marvel

May 3rd, 2019: Untitled fourth Avengers movie

Those films fill out a rammed Phase 3 of movies that began with Captain America: Civil War and Doctor Strange. Where Phase 4 is concerned, all is up in the air as to what to expect from that set of film, so maybe, just maybe The Inhumans will surface on the big screen at some point in the future.
