The fabulous cult label SPACELAB9 has announced two titles that will be exclusively available for this year’s RECORD STORE DAY.

The duo of special releases are a 12inch picture disc featuring musical highlights from Season Four of THE WALKING DEAD (which returns to the screens Sunday 8th February on AMC in the States, and the following day on FOX in the UK) and a two-track single for BETTER CALL SAUL, the new spinoff series created by Vince Gilligan (BREAKING BAD) and Peter Gould, which has just debuted on Netflix and will screen in the US on AMC the same night as the DEAD return.

At the moment, it’s safe to assume these releases will be US exclusives, and with the market for the Record Store Day releases being as it is, will no doubt be instant collectables.

Record Store Day is an annual celebration of independent music stores, with a whole host of special releases made available for purchase in store only. As well as the expected releases from well-known and small bands, there’s usually some interesting soundtrack offerings from the likes of SPACELAB9 and Death Waltz Records. This year’s event takes place on April 18th. Start queuing early!
