Filmmaking duo the Soska Sisters have released a first look image for On The Edge, their psychosexual thriller premiering at Frightfest Halloween later this month.

Jen and Sylvia Soska, who made waves in the horror sphere with their 2012 slasher American Mary, share writing, directing, and producing duties and star in the upcoming feature.

The first look photo shows Peter (Aramis Sartorio) getting more than he bargained for when he books a 36-hour session with the sadistic Mistress Satana, played by Jen Soska, who seems intent on making him suffer. Is it blackmail? Is it torture? Or has the Devil come for his soul? Will Peter’s faith save him from his own personal Hell or is he already damned? Frighfest describes the film as a “brilliant depiction of how Kink Culture can heal past trauma and be a source for shocking redemption”.

The On The Edge ensemble cast also includes Sylvia Soska as Claire, Ola Dada as a desk clerk, Andrea Jin as a maid, Brianne Finn-Morris as Tori, Alanna Finn-Morris as Chloe, Ivan Decker as the newscaster, Mackenzie Gray as Senator Coleman, and Sophie Buddle as Kaitlyn.

On The Edge marks the Soska Sisters’ sixth film and third original production, their last project having been a remake of David Cronenberg’s Rabid.

The Soska Sisters will be hosting the world premiere screening of On The Edge at Frightfest Halloween in Leicester Square, alongside lead actor Sartorio.
