Having recently been revealed to be helming a movie adaptation of Frank Strausser’s Plastic, not to mention working on the awesomely-titled Kill-Crazy Nymphos Attack! comic book, the Soskas have been confirmed to be part of an upcoming horror gameshow.
Deadline is reporting that Jen and Sylvia Soska will be a part of GSN’s Hellevator, which is being produced by Matador and Blumhouse Productions along with Lionsgate TV.
The show will have an eight-episode series, and the premise centres on three friends riding a haunted elevator in an abandoned warehouse. At each floor, one player has to get out and overcome a creepy challenge in order to win some fat cash for their team. If a player doesn’t make it back to the elevator in an allotted time, the elevator closes and moves on to the next floor, leaving the player stranded in sinister solitude.
As to what role the Twisted Twins will be playing, the exact specifics are not known at this stage. The duo as hosts would be a mighty cool option if you ask us, though.
Whether Hellevator makes it to UK screens, we’ll have to wait and see. Either way, the Soska Sisters heading up a terror-inducing gameshow sounds all kinds of cool. Fingers crossed that us UK folks get to see the show at some point.
