Marvel Studios have just released a full-length, official Secret Invasion trailer ahead of the miniseries’ June 21st premiere on Disney+.

Secret Invasion finds Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury back on Earth for the first time in a long while, summoned home to save it from shape-shifting Skrull infiltrators. As Ben Mendelsohn’s Talos warns him, a Skrull faction led by the fearsome Gravik (Kingsley Ben-Admir) aims to take over Earth.

An old-school spy thriller centred on Fury, Secret Invasion will reveal that a faction of Skrulls have been impersonating characters we know and love. In the comic crossover storyline, Secret Invasion involved a subversive, long-term invasion of Earth by the Skrulls, as they secretly replaced many of Earth’s superheroes with impostors before deploying an overt invasion. So who among our heroes will be exposed as alien spies?

This newest Secret Invasion trailer promises an action-packed, espionage-driven war story that will see Fury as the “last person standing between [the Skrulls] and what they really want.” It also introduces some new characters, including Emilia Clarke‘s G’iah, Talos’ daughter, and Olivia Colman‘s high-ranking MI6 agent.

Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, and Don Cheadle also return.
