From the producers of recent horror greats Midsommar, Hereditary, and The Witch, and written and directed by Nancy, Please filmmaker Andrew Semans, comes the critically acclaimed, psychological thriller Resurrection.

Featuring powerhouse performances from Rebecca Hall and Tim Roth, Resurrection explores guilt, trauma, and loss through the eyes of Margaret (Hall). Per the synopsis, Margaret’s life is in order. She is capable, disciplined, and successful. Soon, her teenage daughter, who Margaret raised by herself, will be going off to a fine university, just as Margaret had intended. Everything is under control. That is, until her abusive ex-boyfriend David (Roth) returns, carrying with him the horrors of Margaret’s past – a reminder that will soon lead her to question both her safety and sanity.

Described as a slow-burn psychological horror, the film was hailed upon its Sundance premiere for Hall’s gripping lead performance, while Roth was also commended for his hateful but magnetic role.

Grace Kaufman and Michael Esper also star respectively as Margaret’s daughter Abbie, and Margaret’s married co-worker with whom she is having an affair, Peter.
